Role

We are currently looking for Strong Java Developers with relevant experience working on Multithreaded Real Time systems. The role is based in London.

Reporting to the head of Research and Development, you will be in charge of designing, developing and implementing an in-memory analytics platform that continuously processes new events and passes updated results instantly to users who can be traders or risk managers.

Profile

The successful candidate needs to show proven track record in developing with Java, ANT, MAVEN, Hibernate, and Spring.
You need to be proficient in SQL and to have had some exposure to Front Office or investment bank's Risk Management Systems.

This highly demanding position requires also strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with the trading or Risk Management teams of a bank and under pressure.

Proactivity and creativity are essential, as well as some flexibility as you will have to visit clients based everywhere in the world (1 to 6 months travels – once a year).

A Master degree in Computer Science is required. A degree in Finance is a must.
