Project Manager - Systems Implementations - Copenhagen


LUNALOGIC is a consulting firm specialised in financial markets and quantitative techniques.
We have three offices in Paris, London and Montreal, working within Capital Markets, Asset Management, Insurance and Corporate Banking.

Our client, is seeking several Project Managers for roles implementing systems in multiple locations.

Frequent international travel is required in these customer facing roles.
You will work closely with global teams on all aspects of delivering global Front and Back Office system implementations in Derivatives and other capital markets areas.

Responsibilities

-Managing and tracking progress of implementations to meet deliverables and the system go-live date. Reporting to internal and client Project Steering Committees
-Management of the internal and external resources involved in the project.
-Work directly with customers to review, business / functional / technical requirements to ensure high quality delivery of any configuration and / or custom code.
-Work with colleagues to manage customer expectations around project timelines and issues resolution on all delivery issues.

Skills & Requirements:

-5+ years Project and Resource Management Experience in systems or business analysis or design in the capital markets industry.
-PM experience in implementation or support of Front or Back office systems in a Bank, Hedge Fund or Asset Manager.
-Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Money Market, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Equities and Equity Derivatives, Commodities or Commodity Derivatives.

A)Front Office Requirements: Detailed hands-on knowledge about industry standard front office standards for market data management (bootstrapping algorithm), trade capture, pricing (Black-Scholes, Cox-Ross), and risk (Monte Carlo, VAR).
B)Back Office Requirements: Detailed hands-on knowledge about industry standard back office processing functional areas, including settlements (SWIF T, ACH, FedWire), documentation (confirmation, advices, reset advices, etc.) and accounting (general ledger, PnL accounting, etc.).

-Customer focus - able to understand customer needs and build effective relationships. Work within a team environment, and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
-Communications skills - able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical and concise manner.
-Able to influence key decision makers both internally and externally.
-Strong organizational and presentation skills.
-Strong time management skills.
-Create and manage complex project plans efficiently.
-Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
-Willingness and ability to travel frequently, as required.
-Project Management Certification
